We received some awful news today, my boyfriends Dad was told that he has Leukemia. The nurse at the hospital gave us these books to help us understand what he is going through and also help us deal and cope with the chemo therapy that will start tomorrow ...

Happy Birthday to me LOL Yep Im the big 30!!! I had my Mum, Nana and Stepdad come over for cake and tea, I decided to make a special batch of tea which I had bought from a local supplier, it looks like a small ball of leaves rolled up and then when added to boiling water it begins to open up and show jasmine and a chrysanthemum flowers, it also tasted divine ...

Titan is getting calmer by the day and Im feeling alot more comfortable with the kids being up and close with him. I think he's finally starting to realise he aint a race horse anymore and is enjoying us fussing over him ...

I took my nearly 7 year old son down to the local skate park so he could get some practice on his skateboard and watch the other kids so he could learn a bit more, he absolutley loved it and I was so proud of him for giving it a go ...

Ok your probably wondering why I took a photo of my washing drying on the clothesline ... well Im finally getting the hang of my new washing machine and ohhh my goodness Ive never seen the clothes so white ROFL so of course I had to take a pic of that! ;)

I received an email from the photojoto site about a challenge where you take a photo a day for a whole year, I was very interested in taking it on as Im still learning the ins and outs of my camera.

Typical of me Im late with everything and have only had the chance to set this blog up today, however I have been taking my pics everyday, so this post will have my 1st, 2nd and 3rd photos ...



#1 This is my first photo for the year 2008 just after midnight. I spent New Years with friends and we had a ball! I got my partner to take this shot of my friend Bonnie and me.

#2 This next photo is of my new washing machine, I finally cleaned out the laundry and had it installed, its so quiet you dont hear a thing when its running and my house doesnt shake when its on spin cycle LOL

#3 I took this next photo of the big shady tree out the front of the house because during this hot summer this is one place I like to sit under.
